Types of UCN Membership:

Fighter – This membership is for professional MMA fighters only.
Ring Girl – For athletic,  energetic and cheerful young ladies
Fan/Gold membership – For active, supportive and opinioned Martial Arts enthusiasts  
Organization – For Promoters; Managers, Leagues, Federations, Athletic Commissions and Venues                       
Officials – For event Officials, Medical, Commentators   and Announcers

Event Info --

UCN promotes Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) under Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts.

UCN Voting leads to a real event --

To vote for your favorite fighter or ring girl go to their profile page where you will see a Vote button on the right side of the screen. You can vote only for the event which is coming up next. The votes will not be carried over to the next event; they will be cleared after the voting is finished. You can vote for as many fighters as you like as well as match them up.

Match Making --

After the voting is done, 24 of the most popular fighters will participate in the Match Making. The match making will be activated the instant the voting stops, on midnight at the end of the month, and will continue for 7 days. After the match making is done, 10 of the most popular pairs, matched up by UCN fans, will get on the fighting card to participate in the event and will share the prize money. Does a fighter have to sign a contract with UCN?

UCN is not a federation and will NOT choose, represent or promote any fighter and will NOT restrict a fighter to UCN with a contract. Any member of UCN can fight for different fighting organizations without any restrictions.

But if a fighter wins a popular vote he/she has to sign a contract with United Combat Network for the particular event he/she was chosen for. It is each fighter’s responsibility to ensure that the organization they belong to will allow them to participate in UCN event.

I’ve been chosen, but I can’t come to the event?

You will be substituted with a fighter who has the greatest number of votes or with a different pair of fighters. Remember – If you do not show up to the event, it may result in losing your fan base.
Without sound explanation of your inability to participate in the event, your UCN fighter account will be downgraded to Gold membership or canceled.


Can I put my UCN videos on You Tube, Google Video, or any Video Hosting Site?

Sure. It is in your best interest to promote yourself as much as possible.

What should be in my videos?

Your skills; your personality and your story! Don’t make it too long. Have many different videos. Post video responses to comments created by your fans and other fighters. And share your videos with the world through You Tube, Google Video, My Space and other social sites.

 
Can I use help to promote myself?

You can have help from your manager, promoter or your friends. If someone can help you to get to the top and secure the fight please accept their help. 

Can I create an account for someone else? 

Yes, if you are an official representative, agent or manager of a fighter or a ring girl. But if you are not, the creation of a false account is against UCN Terms of Service and is not permitted.

Can I open a few accounts with UCN using different email addresses?

NO. This will jeopardize the integrity of the voting. The person with multiple accounts will be banned from the UCN website, the accounts will be closed, and all votes from these accounts will be annulled.

How many ring girls get into the event?

UCN members will choose three ring girls for each event.

What is Ring Girls’ prize money?

$2,000 will be divided between three ring girls after each event - $1,000 goes to the first place, $600 to the second and $400 to the third place. Transportation to the event and a hotel are paid by UCN.

I won the popular vote as a Ring Girl, should I sign a contract?

Yes, you have to sign a contract to participate in an event. If you won’t be able to do so, another contestant with most votes will take your place.

What is a Market Place?

UCN Market Place is a market place for the Martial Arts Industry. UCN members can sell products or services, advertise their club or look for an employee or a job. Members are able to link their advertisements to a related video or pictures, to attract potential customer.
